We believe in the mission of the American Camping Association (ACA). Together, through the implementation and upkeep of the highest professional standards and practices in camping, we have created a safe and fun environment for your child to make memories.

Federal, State, and Local licensing agencies are primarily concerned with compliance with basic minimums of the facility itself. ACA Accreditation focuses upon program quality and camp staff, as well as every aspect of the camp that has an impact on the health and safety of each and every camper. Our accrediting inspector went as far as to say: “I wish I could send my granddaughter to Windmill.”

Our staff is passionate about camp. Our Camp Director and Assistant Director are both active and involved members of ACA and continually volunteer their time and effort to keep their fingers on the pulse of the latest camping trends. They bring back to our camp the best ideas from the combined resources of over 2,000 of the best camps in the country.

Not all the accreditation in the world can make a camp great. They help, but the most important aspect to a camp is the staff.
